Our friends Jane and Alex had their wedding at the Peace Arch Provincial Arch Pavillion.If you haven't been there, its the brown building in the middle of the park, and you can see it to your right while waiting in line on your way to the US border. This is unfortunately what happened to us. We had an invite but we weren't very sure of the directions. We got lost and ended up in the Duty Free parking lot to ask for directions. Little did we know that we were doomed at that point. There was no getting out and a U-turn was out of the question. We ended up in line for an hour or so and after the U-turn, waited another hour getting back to the Canada border. What a nightmare.
The good thing that came out of this however, is that everyone loved the Mango Salad that Grace made for the wedding. Jane picked it up early and this guaranteed it got to the reception. Maud and Jane also said their family and guests kept asking where it was catered.
